The Art Exhibition at Bharda New High School was organized on 12th April, 2019. The exhibition was inaugurated by our Principal Mrs. Vinita Lewis. She mentioned in her inaugural speech that every child is unique, so the work of every child counts. Art therefore is the best medium for celebrating this uniqueness. She emphasized that the children get hands-on experience and it is a focal point to involve parents and the entire school community almost like an event.
The exhibition was single-handedly organized by Mrs. Vidya Agawane, with generous help by the support staff. The exhibition received an overwhelming response from the students and parents. Everybody was visibly impressed by the scores of bright, colourful paintings of all shapes and sizes. From portraits to abstract art, pottery, clay models, paper art kandils, quilling paperart to glass painting. It was a feast for the eyes.
If art is considered an expression of life, it would be true to say that the art exhibits and mini-clay models gave the audience an opportunity to get plenty of insights into the curious minds of the budding artists at Bharda.
