Workshop on Seed Balls

The aim of the workshop was to prepare fertile soil using raw dung and raw urine. This would help in planting more and more tress and is turn help to increase greenery around us.

Volunteers from Keshow Shrusti demonstrated the making of seed balls. Mr. Aardip Rathod project in-charge in Keshow Shrusti along with his colleague Mr. Rohidas conducted the programme.

Students were asked to make groups. Cowdung, soil and cow urine were provided to the students. The students made seed balls. Chilly and drumstick seeds were sowed in it.

Students co-operatively did the activity and learned a natural method that contributed to re-forestation.
