Republic Day Celebration 2019

On 26th January 2019 our school celebrated Republic Day. Our Assistant Head Boy welcomed each and every one present. Our Empathy award winners came in with our band unit and with our chief guest, Mr. Gean D’esilvaa. Our Principal Mrs. Lewis introduced the chief guest. The chief guest gave us an inspirational and motivational speech about upholding ones honor and integrity as a worthy citizen. The chief guest hoisted our national flag. He gave away empathy awards to all our worthy empathy award winners. After that we heard a melodious song from our student Master Ziyad Alam Borbhuyan which resonated with the feeling of ‘Being a proud Indian’. This was followed by an inspirational speech from our Head Boy about how a student can become a responsible citizen. Our Computer staff compiled a very meaningful audio-visual for students highlighting our unique cultural diversity.

Our Principal conducted the vote of thanks. The programme ended on a positive note as the students clearly felt a sense of pride identifying themselves as Indians.
