MAHATMA GANDHI
Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated from 1st October, 2018 to 5th October, 2018. Various activities and competitions were conducted during this week in lieu of celebrating the birth anniversary of the Father of Our Nation. The celebrations included as under:-
- Assembly on Mahatma Gandhi and his ideologies.
- Dressing up like Mahatma Gandhi- The pre-primary students dressed up like Gandhiji and enacted the Dandi March.
- Drawing competition – The students of Grade V to VIII made posters on Quit India Movement.
- Essay competition on Bharat Chodo Andolan was conducted for students of Grade V to IX
- Cleanliness is next to Godliness- The primary students carried out a Clean Our Classroom Drive and enjoyed cleaning the museum area.
- Swachh Bharat Campaign – The RSP Unit steered an awareness program on cleanliness in support of the Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. They also carried out Cleanliness Drive in the adjacent vicinities of the school.
