Maharashtra Day and Labor Day celebration

On May 1st, Bharda New High School and Junior College proudly celebrated Maharashtra Day and Labor Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic spirit. The event was held in the school premises and attended by Parents, students, teachers, and staff members.

The program began with National Anthem the Maharashtra state song, paying tribute to the formation of the state of Maharashtra on this day in 1960. A special speech highlighted the cultural heritage, history, and contributions of Maharashtra to the nation.

The importance of Labor Day was also recognized, with heartfelt appreciation extended to the non-teaching and support staff of the school, acknowledging their hard work and dedication.

The principal addressed the gathering, encouraging students to honor the values of hard work, unity, and pride in one’s culture. The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks and a pledge to uphold the dignity of labor and the spirit of Maharashtra.

The event was a meaningful tribute to both the workers who contribute to society and the rich legacy of the state of Maharashtra.
