Day 1
On 17th August RSP cadets assembled at Bandra Terminus at 8:00 p.m. They boarded the train at 8:45 p.m. they were given a packet of pizza. They enjoyed singing and dancing in the train.
Day 2
On 18th August (Sunday) they reached Ahmedabad station at 5:00 a.m., from there they travelled by bus and reached hotel (Comfort Inn Sunset). As they reached they were allotted their rooms. After that they visited Sabarmati Ashram, it is also known as Gandhi Ashram. The Ashram now houses a museum, called ‘Gandhi’s Smarak Sangralay’. After that they visited ‘Adalaj Stepwell’. It was built in 1498 in the memory of Rana Veer Singh. After that they visited auto world vintage car museum. It is developed and proudly looked after by Mr. Pranlal Bhogilal. After that they reached the hotel and had lunch. They went to Akshardham Temple. After that they had their dinner.
Day 3
Day 3 started with a visit to Aaroja School at Sabarkantha where the RSP cadets were warmly welcomed. They presented a small skit on road safety and traffic rules. There after the RSP cadets generously donated food items and toiletries. At 7:30 p.m. a camp fire was organized where delicious recipes were prepare and the camp fire ended with a hilarious skit.
Day 4
The RSP cadets explained to people the importance of following traffic rules and road safety measures. This was followed by a function where capable RSP cadets were awarded, after that it the troop left for ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation) where a lot of information was gathered about Space Technology and Exploration. After an interesting visit to do ISRO the cadets visited Kankaria Lake after which they travelled to the station. They reached Bandra on 21st August, 2019 at 5:30 a.m. believing that the camp was a memorable experience of learning with fun.
