On the auspicious morning of 26th January, our school celebrated The Republic Day in the school premises. It was a matter of great pride for all of us. The school hall was dressed in our tri-color and the stage was beautifully decorated.
The Principal unfurled the national flag followed by the National Anthem. The school band welcomed all the guests. Master Amir Shaikh gave a soul-stirring speech about preserving our roots. This was followed by a melodious song sung by Master Jiyad Borbhuyan.
Our Principal Mrs. Vinita Lewis reminded us about the sacrifices of martyrs and how we need to consistently strive to preserve the fine character of the nation as young nation-builders.
She also read out the preamble to re-affirm her thoughts. The principal then gave prizes and certificates to all the empathy award winners, applauding the efforts of parents for fostering in their children good values.
The efforts of the Principal, teachers and students truly made this day a memorable one.
