Founder’s Day Celebration at Bharda

The Founder’s Day was celebrated on 3rd January, 2019. In the remembrance of The Bharda School founders Mr. Jalbhai Dorabji Bharda and Kaikobad Behramji Marzban, students put up a small skit with the able guidance of Miss. Achal. They were assisted by Mrs. Shaikh. Mrs. Shaikh along with other students gave a speech about the vision of our founding fathers for the school and milestones the institution achieved since it was founded. Some of the most note-worthy achievements being the first Road Safety Patrol, having one of the finest exhibits in Science and most of all its considered to be the Nursey of Cricket. Mrs. Vinita Lewis addressed the children, she reiterated that she and the staff at Bharda would remain, steadfast in upholding the vision of our founding fathers to raise Bharda to new standards. She emphasized the need to see children not merely performing in academics but also emphasized on character-building through hard-work and conscious effort. This thought ably resonated with the motto of our school ‘Ever New’.

The ceremony was brought to a closure with the school song and everyone felt nostalgic and proud to be associated with the institution that is 128 years old, yet ‘Ever New’ in its spirit.
