On Friday, 3rd July 2026, the Interact Club of Bharda New High School organised a Cyber Safety Workshop for parents. The workshop was conducted by The Rotary Club of Bombay and Matterly Foundation, in collaboration with Brush of Hope.
The session was led by renowned psychiatrist and psychotherapist Dr. Anjali Chhabaria, who shared valuable insights into the growing challenges of cyberbullying, children’s mental health, and sextortion. She sensitised parents to the warning signs of online risks, highlighted practical safety measures and digital precautions, and emphasised the importance of maintaining open and effective communication with children in today’s technology-driven world.
Through her informative and engaging session, Dr. Chhabaria empowered parents with the knowledge and confidence to create a safe, supportive, and understanding environment for their children. The workshop also promoted awareness of responsible digital behaviour, emotional well-being, and the collective role of parents in safeguarding children in the digital age.
The programme was highly informative and well received, leaving parents better equipped to guide and protect their children in an increasingly connected world.
