On 18th September, Bharda New High School, Fort, had the unique honor of welcoming Ellie – Asia’s first robotic elephant.
Around 200 students enthusiastically participated in the PETA workshop, where Mrs. Meenakshi, the speaker, narrated the touching story of Ellie’s rescue and journey to freedom. She inspired students to show empathy, compassion, and love towards all animals.
Ellie’s presence brought immense joy to students and teachers alike. Everyone was thrilled to watch Ellie “speak,” express herself, and even pose for memorable pictures.
To make the day even more special, PETA distributed animal-themed colouring books filled with meaningful messages, encouraging children to become kinder and more responsible towards animals.
A heartfelt thank you to the Rotary Club of Bombay for organizing this impactful and unforgettable session for the Interact Club of Bharda New High School.
