On Tuesday, 17th June 2025, the Rotary Club of Bombay organized a special meeting at the Taj Mahal Hotel to felicitate the Interact Clubs of various schools for initiating the ‘My WORLD is My Canvas’ program for students of Class 7 , 8, 9.
The Interact Clubs were honoured by Mr. Jackie Shroff, a veteran actor and passionate environmentalist, who graced the occasion with his presence and words of encouragement.
The ‘My WORLD is My Canvas’ program is a sustainable initiative aimed at educating and inspiring young minds about the importance of environmental conservation, sustainability, and responsible citizenship.
As part of the program, the Rotary Club of Bombay also plans to organize 2 to 3 field trips annually to explore and engage with communities in the interiors of Mumbai and Navi Mumbai, promoting hands-on learning and deeper environmental awareness.
