The martyrdom of the CRPF jawans at Pulwana in Jammu & Kashmir on Thursday has touched the hearts of the future citizens of the nation. 27 Interactors from STD 8th and 9th came out on the streets of Mumbai city on Monday18th February 2019, on the fifth day in the wake of the Pulwama terror under the guidance of the moderators Mrs. Tasneem Gilitwala and Mrs. Shubhangi Thakur. The Interact club of Bharda New High School participated in the candle march to pay their tribute to the brave hearts and to display solidarity with the grieving family members. The candle march was led by the president of the Interact club Saifur Chowdhary and the moderators of the club. The interactors walked with the Indian flag, banners, and a lighted candle in their hands. The theme of candle-march was to shower bountiful respect towards our soldiers and to express deep gratitude for their selfless contribution made for our nation. The walk started from our school, covering the Godrej Bhavan, Sterling theatre, New Excelsior theatre, and McDonald’s, where the vice president Imran Siddique, secretary Mohammed Mansuri and the director Adi Shaikh initiated slogans such as Jai Jawan Jai kisan. Bharat Mata ki Jai , Vande mataram, Indian army Zindabad Hindustan Zindabad. They even stood at the junction of the road displaying the banners and the Indian tri-colour. A large number of passer-by gathered along the streets witnessed the candle-march. A few of the passer by appreciated our initiative and a few joined us. We are sure, the message of patriotism might have been instilled in at least few minds, which will reach every individual in a propagating manner.
